Microsoft Office Space: A SQL with Flair. Hacking Contest with Prizes“Mmm, yeah, Peter... I'm going to need you to just go ahead and come in on Sunday... O.K.? That'd be great.” And thus begins another mind-bending Skillz H@ck1ng Challenge from The Ethical Hacker Network. Tom Liston of Counter Hack Reloaded fame (written with Ed Skoudis) whipped up this one based on his real-world adventures in the deepest, darkest cubicle jungles of the mid-west. The name? Microsoft Office Space: A SQL with Flair. The game? Figure out how they plan to fool "The Man." The prize? As always, we'll award three signed copies of Ed and Tom's book - one for the best technical answer, one for the most creative answer that is technically correct, and one for a completely random entry selected using some quantum-derived formula that rounds to fractions of a penny. This well conceived challenge was written as a sequel to the cult favorite, “Office Space” and is funny, engaging, and will definitely test your security chops. Kudos to Tom Liston and his soon to be famous "memo detailing the requirement for adding cover sheets to your TPS report." Hint Hint! |
